About Me
♡ Healing with Houseplants ♡
Welcome to Healing with Houseplants, where I delve into the intersection of plant care and mental wellness. In this blog, I explore the profound impact that tending to plants can have on our mental health and overall well-being. I share my story and symbiotic relationship between plant care and my mental health.
I share practical tips for cultivating your indoor jungle, regardless of your level of expertise. Consider how the act of watering, pruning, and repotting can become mindful rituals that allow us to ground in the present moment.
How it began
Throughout my childhood, I found solace in nature and the beauty of growth. While I always had a handful of neglected succulents, my journey with houseplants truly began during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
During this period, like much of the world, I found myself isolated. With my university studies transitioning online, I suddenly had ample time on my hands. Caring for and propagating plants became a source of comfort. Through those months of seclusion, my plant collection flourished. Eventually, I took a bold step and imported a shipment of aroids from Ecuador. Though they arrived alive, they required serious tender loving care. Over the past five years, I have dedicated countless hours to propagating and nurturing hundreds of plant babies. My aim is to share my experiences and passion for aroids with others.

2021 Student Marketplace Vendor
I started on the exciting journey of designing and printing my booth's banner! It was a thrilling experience to set up my first in-person booth. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for plants with fellow students at my university.
